Granite Dells Trail

This area is full of these"dells".  Huge granite boulders over a billion years old, and weathered and cracked into unusual rounded shapes.  While painting I have seen wild javalinas, deer, eagles, hawks and ravens.  A wonderful place to try and capture in paint.  Plein Air Painting. Thor and Kris's cala lily invitations, rsvp and thank-you cards.  They had them printed on ivory linen paper, and the envelopes addressed in italic calligraphy.  A fun job.

Guadalupe Church-1

This is a little church in Guadalupe Arizona.  I visited it this last year and found the town nearly destitute, the effects of Arizona's infamous SB1070 clearly evident in the deserted schools, shops, restaurants and streets.
